We celebrated Garry's birthday the day after Halloween. Instead of doing our traditional October fare, we had a fiesta thanks to a suggestion by Andrew.
Andrew was watching a Dora episode about a Fiesta de Quincienera(Fifteenth Birthday party) and had been talking about piñatas. Andrew got to select the piñata and chose the difficult-to-break sombrero.
The kids had fun trying to break it open before we resorted to pulling the strings. As it was the day after Halloween, the piñata was filled with prizes instead of treats.
