We had a wonderful Christmas day. It started off at our house with stockings, opening presents, and breakfast. On our way down to Jen's parent's house, we drove through snow until about Salem--the first White Christmas in Portland in 17 years!

After Andrew was in bed that night, and other guests were gone, we were enjoying a couple of minutes with Jen's parent's when Emily surprised us as she took her first scoot--and then her first little crawl--to one of her new toys on the floor. She was so excited with her newly expanded world! (Jen wanted to cry.)
She spent the rest of Christmas break working on her scooting and crawling. All the new toys must have been too much for her curiosity!

Watch out world, Emily is on the move! I was so excited for Davin to crawl but he was 9 months so it was time. Your girl will probably be walking by that time. It looks like you had a great Christmas. We were surprised by the white flakes too.
