The weekend before Christmas we took the kids to Peacock Lane—a street in SE Portland famous for all its lights. We parked the car and took both strollers with Emily snuggled warmly inside hers. Andrew made a running commentary on the lights, "I see reindeer." "I see Santa...."
Afterward, we stopped in at Moonstruck, a favorite chocolatier of ours for shakes (They are so good we passed over the hot chocolate on a cold December evening). We had a lot of fun even if it was a bit strange for us to stop in at one of our favorite date night locations with two children.
